Traditional medicine has failed you

You were told your disease is a ‘successful’ consequence of aging. Your provider failed to recognize factors that may have prevented you from fracturing or failing a surgical procedure. Your evaluation was limited and non-individualized, resulting in an incomplete treatment plan, forcing you to continue to search for answers.

Being proactive about your health means addressing issues before they arise. Bone Health is often overlooked until a fracture or complication occurs. Bone Health is a journey not a single diagnosis. Prevention works best when risks are identified early, and care involves a multi-disciplinary approach. At Aegis Bone Health we look at more than just biology. We evaluate, assess, and develop a personalized Bone Health plan to maintain strength, mobility and longevity.
Our Vision
We aim to provide integrated, multi-disciplinary care focused on supporting, restoring, and maintaining bone health. Our approach identifies risks early and helps prevent falls, fractures, and complications after surgery. We are committed to education, offering resources and clinical guidance to patients and professionals alike.

Optimal Clinical Paradigm
What makes us unique, makes you unique
We begin with our 4-Pillar Assessment that considers the Biological, Behavioral, Functional and Environmental factors that affect your Bone Health. From this evaluation we may include additional radiographic studies, laboratory studies, consults and other factors to develop a Multi-disciplinary Assessment Profile (MAP) culminating in a personalized Integrated Care Plan. With your desires in mind, we help guide your steps toward stronger, healthy bones.
Our Programs
Our programs are designed to support Bone Health across all stages of life and for a variety of needs. Each program is personalized to you, focusing on a comprehensive evaluation, and developing an individualized treatment plan to maintain and restore your Bone Health for function and longevity.

DXA Body Scan
Most Popular
Dual X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) scan is the gold standard for measuring bone density, body fat distribution and lean muscle mass with precision that all other equipment cannot match. A number score, traditionally provided by test centers, is not sufficient to understand your overall bone health.
We rely on DXA to assess osteoporosis risk and bone health, track metabolic health markers, and establish accurate baselines for patients who are serious about their longevity and functionality.
Our process provides additional measurements for a comprehensive evaluation. Bone Marrow Density can predict fracture risk and monitor response to treatment. Also included in our system is a FRAX tool assessment which predicts fracture probability, a Vertebral Fracture Assessment, and a Trabecular Bone Score.
Traditional weight measurements offer only a limited view of overall health. DXA Body Scans measure body composition and provide deeper insight into bone health, muscle quality and quantity, fat distribution, and visceral fat.
Ongoing monitoring supports recovery, injury prevention, and performance at every level. By evaluating muscle health, we can identify changes early and create strategies to optimize strength and function over time.
Laboratory Studies
Laboratory testing is an essential part of understanding bone health. Standard tests provide key insight, while additional labs may be recommended based on your 4-Pillar evaluation to identify factors that may affect bone strength.
These results help guide personalized treatment decisions and allow us to monitor how your care plan is working over time.
GI and Nutritional Evaluation
Digestive health plays an important role in bone and muscle strength. Conditions that affect digestion can limit the body’s ability to absorb essential minerals and nutrients.
We assess digestive risk factors and identify underlying concerns that may affect nutrition. Addressing these issues supports healthier bones, stronger muscles, and overall wellbeing.
Medications, Infusions, and Hormonal Replacement
Medications and hormone therapies can play a role in supporting bone strength by promoting bone formation and reducing bone loss. When appropriate, they may also help lower the risk of fractures and support better surgical outcomes.
These treatments are used thoughtfully and only when necessary. Any medication or hormone therapy is selected specifically for you, based on a comprehensive and personalized evaluation.
Functional Longevity
Everyone’s body is different, and bone health assessments should reflect that. We use advanced imaging and assessment tools to gain a clear, detailed understanding of your bone health.
This comprehensive evaluation allows us to tailor our recommendations and care plan to the specific needs of your body.
